I recieved inquiry for potential reservation but since they will be in the neighborhood prior to the dates of their reservation they would like to see space before they reserve to make sure its suitable for them. Is it reasoable to allow this? Is there anything I shouldbe concerned about?

Hi @Zvi1
I suggest you send them this link
When a guest asks to visit before booking - Airbnb Help Center
That way they can see you're not being unaccommodating, you're just following protocol by saying no. Hope it helps!

Thank you so much!
Hello @Zvi1
Great advice from @Shelley159 and I remember when I first started out on Airbnb I got a few of these similar requests Always said no and realised soon enough that it was a way for them to go off platform - no Airbnb fees but no chance of Airbnb stepping in if I had a problem. The only one who would have benefited would have been them.
All the best with your hosting
Joëlle
Thank you @Shelley159 and @Joelle43 for the excellent advice!
@Zvi1 I'd love to know how it went in the end. Did you get back to the guest with the suggested response? Was there any more communication afterwards?
Welcome to the community, and speak soon I hope! 😊
