Template for food and drink preferences/allergies

Hi,

I am new to this,and was wondering if there is a standardized template created that asks about snack/ drink preferences or allergies.

Along the same lines, is there a standardized “Welcome,” “Thank you for staying with us…” and a follow up to canceled reservations that is used to keep communication consistent and to help with efficiency in communicating with guests?

Thank you.

Cancellations

Other hosts might have some ideas for a cancellation template? We rarely get cancellations, but normally respond with something like "We're so sorry you won't be able to stay with us. We hope to see you for a visit in the future."

Snacks/Allergies

We do provide a Welcome Basket with some snacks and a note. We don't ask if guests have allergies, as it would be too difficult to cater to all guests specific food allergies.  Most guests with allergies (like nuts) are very savvy about what they eat when traveling and will avoid any snacks you provide that could cause a problem(or bring their own snacks/food). Many hosts do provide bottled water, coffee, tea and cooking spices.

Welcome Message Template

We do have a "Quick Reply" for welcoming guests. We don't automate the Welcome with a Scheduled Message, as we found many guests ask some questions when booking. If we used a "Scheduled Message" it would be sent without answering their specific question(s) and it's clear to the guest it's just an automated message. We use the Quick Reply as a template and answer any questions they had appropriately.  An example would be:

Welcome! Just confirming your reservation for Aug 12, 2023, - Aug 15, 2023; 2 guests. Thank you for choosing to stay with us!  {answer any question appropriately}

Did you manage to create a template for yourself to ask guests about their food preferences?

I am reaching out to our Host members if they can share some valuable suggestions with you: @Cathy379 @Joan2709 @Mar125 .

@Bhumika

I don’t provide food for my listings. the food allergy risk is really too high to allow host to provide food at Airbnb listings.

The only thing i provide is coffee and icy water, and ice cream if kids are in.

however, if i would provide meal, i would provide guest whatever host has for himself…

Thank you for your help!
