bed bugs, how can airbnb deny a claim for a bug that had to have been brought from a guest

I am having a serious issue with airbnb, a guest reported a bed bug problem and after having pest investigators in they did indeed find them. 

we had to shut things down and replace a couch and airbnb is denying us for any and all compensation. 

bed bugs had to have been brought in by a guest… we do not have them in our house…. i believe that should fall under guest damage to our property. 

thoughts?! plz tell me someone has had success fighting airbnb on this

@Alexander1621 As you cannot say which guest brought in the bugs then Airbnb would struggle to know if it was a guest, a cleaner or even yourselves who brought them in. As such I suspect you will have to stand this loss yourselves.
