i did not get new booking after 1st week of Oct. any similar suitation?

I've been hosting for a number of years, some of them were busy years and some were quieter.  I've consistently found that the end of October is a really quiet time of year.  I'm not sure why that is.  My guess is that it has to do with the change in the type of travelers we get in Vancouver.  By late October the summer has completely faded away and its still too early for the type of visitors who are coming to see family & friends in the winter.  I'd say stick with it for a bit longer to be able to welcome the winter guests who might start booking in November.
