E dopo tre anni che mi sono divertito a svolgere questo passattempo e questo "lavoro" sto pensando seriamente di mollare tutto (Grazie Airbnb!!!!)

We stayed here for 3 nights, and though Stefano is a great and friendly guy, I cannot recommend his house. I don't know why other reviewers have said that Lomazzo is central and great to stay? Yes it is in between Milan and Como City, but Lake Como is a further 2 hours by boat. It really doesn't solve any purpose to stay in Lomazzo.. Besides, it is a pretty dull and quiet town. Not many places to eat. Even the Iper supermarket was not fully stocked. And petrol prices are through the roof in Italy. Euro 1.75 per litre. Ridiculous. The house itself is inside a narrow lane with parking outside. But it's a climb up to reach the house, and this is a task if you have heavy luggage. The house then has got 2 floors, with the kitchen downstairs and the bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Impossible to carry a big bag to the room through the small spiral and narrow staircase. Impossible.. We left all our bags down by the kitchen and dining table and just packed and unpacked there.. Our bags are regular airline check in bags - 26 and 28 inches. And no, they could not be carried up through the staircase to the bedroom Kitchen - NOT fully equipped. No microwave, No electric kettle. So no way to reheat something quickly, or make a cup of hot tea or coffee. Well, we could boil water on the gas, but there was no small vessel either to boil water in! We had to use one of the big pans to boil water in. Very inconvenient. Towels provided were very small, not sure if they were bath towels? Again, I'm not certain here what the protocol is on Airbnb regarding bath towels. Is the host supposed to provide bath towels? The house is also next to the local Church, and the bells ring every morning at 7 or 7.30. On the positive side, WiFi was good and Stefano and his girlfriend were friendly and answered all questions patiently over the Airbnb chat. The house is also a 7-10 minutes walk to the station. Also, Italy has a vague trash disposal system, and we put all our garbage neatly into 2 bags and handed them over to Stefano for disposal. Stefano is a good friendly guy, he even gave us a pack of croissants when we checked in, but unfortunately I cannot recommend his house to the elderly or families. It would be more suited to backpackers or couples who travel light, with no large bags, and who don't want hot tea/ coffee in the mornings.

Wow!! That's happen when people booked and pay for 2 instead of 3 and doesn't read at all the description of the apartment... I can reply point by point (but I have not time to do that) Funny to know I'm also responsible for the fuel price It Italy!! And you where right all the other 120 review are fake and you are right! Enjoy.

@Stefano71 non getterei la spugna per una recensione non positiva. Si sa, il mondo è bello perchè è vario e purtroppo arrivano anche ospiti che hanno letto distrattamente l'annuncio.Anche io mi sono domandata se avessero visto le foto, dove è ben visibile la scala e se ti avessero fatto domande in merito. 

Se posso darti un suggerimento, anche se vedo che hai molte recensioni, ma forse poche non positive, cerca di non spazientirti, lascia passare la rabbia e poi rispondi con garbo. Le risposte date a caldo, come la tua, non ti mettono in buona luce con gli ospiti futuri che leggeranno la recensione e la tua risposta poco garbata. E' molto più difficile infatti rispondere alle critiche che alle recensioni positive.

Poi passa ! non mollare, ho avuto una svizzera che (pur pagando due lire, perchè avevo settato un' offerta) ha avuto da ridire. Mi ha affibbiato 3 in precisione perchè il soppalco non aveva la porta, quando da foto e da annuncio si capisce benissimo. E quando avrebbe potuto dirmelo durante il soggiorno, l' avrei spostata nell' altra che avevo libera. Inutile dire che gli altri 50 e passa giudizi sono -tutti- 5 stelle.

Le ho scritto una rispostaccia, garbata ma chi leggerà capirà che era un'isterica pretenziosa. Dopo 3 giorni mi era passata la rabbia.

Ora so che non devo fare sconti, e diffidare di chi non ha storico su Airbnb, e quindi cercherà il pelo nell' uovo

Una Giancarlo, ormai siamo oltre il ridicolo!!

Una persona che scrive (testauli parole) che da casa mia ci vogliono 2 ore di barca per arrivare a Como!

(Lomazzo non è neanche sul lago!!!! dove hanno preso il battello?!?!?!?)

Altro punto....

Piccole salviette....(e non so neanche se erano salviette!!!)

In Italia come sappiamo esiste il bidet....quando vai a fare i bisognini e ti lavi....cosa usi?????  

E non consideriamo il resto..... (ohhhhh ci sono le scale nell'appartamento.....già vero dalle foto non si vedono le ho nascoste per bene.....)

Senza considerare che naturalmente hanno pagato per 2 persone e si sono presentati in 3

Ora io devo sprecare tempo ed impegno e ricevere questo trattamento??? (Con Airbnb che non ti tutela minimanete??????)

Ciao a tutti, incollo una racensione di pochi gg fa e anche la mia risposta, giacché, da sola, non fa capire quanto è assurda e quasi diffamatoria:

Furio welcomed us with drinks and snacks and was provided us with tips as to where to dine or visit. The room and private toilet was spacious and had a nice view. However, bear in mind that check in time is 1900, not 1700 as stated on the website. Also, there is a bit of a hike for the view (4th floor, no lifts). Property has lots of old appliances that are still in current usage, so probably nice for antique lovers. Bear in mind also that there is a big dog (friendly) and smoker in the household - these were not in the description when we booked the place. We were slightly disappointed that the pillows were too flat and only a thin sheet was provided as a blanket so night can get a little chilly (but this probably won't be that much of a problem in summer). Overall, an okay place to stay for 2 nights in Genoa, central location, friendly host but shortcomings as above.

1°- errore, nel sito è indicato check-in ore19,00, non 17,00 2°-errore, nel sito è indicato 4° piano senza ascensore. 3°- "old appliance" ? si chiama " antiquariato", punti di vista rispettabili. 4°-errore, nel sito è indicato che c'è un cane ed è per fumatori. 5°- cuscini migliori di Ikea, non ne hanno "sottili", e nell'armadietto, da me indicato, ci sono altri 4 cuscini. 6°- coperte sottili ? a fine Maggio vi posso dare il piumone, basta chiederlo. 7°- "dettagli wifi" non li avete chiesti e non c'è n'è bisogno perché la Pass. non serve. 8°- errore, "host in ritardo", come faccio ad essere in ritardo se vi ho aspettato a cas (Website hidden by Airbnb) ho testimone. 9° e finale : subito vi ho ricordato che per ogni necessità basta chiedere.

Per il resto, se fosse venuta da me la tizia avrebbe scritto lo stesso: sono pieno di Polaroid, registratori multitraccia a cassetta, vinili, strumenti, memorabilia, modernariato, Commodore 64 e via dicendo. Il tutto in un palazzo barocco, del '700.
Probabilmente, mi avrebbe scritto anche a me che tutto era fatiscente. Contro l' ignoranza non c'è lotta

Ti consiglio di chiocciolare i nomi delle persone a cui ti rivolgi.. 

Senza storico? Intendo senza o con poche recensioni. Persone che non sanno che topaie si possono trovare su Airbnb, e quindi non possono apprezzare i nostri sforzi.

PS anche il mio palazzo è vincolato dalla Sovrintendenza alle Belle Arti
