Critic my listing- help us improve ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Hi guys,

We have a lovely budget-friendly  studio in Curacao.

airbnb.com/h/casita-azul-apartment

After having a lot of love for the property we got two guests that unfairly wanted to get the ratings down and requested an reimbursement.

the first one  โ€œ felt the space was too little for a coupleโ€

the other one violated our houserules by bringing more guests into the airbnb than allowed and gave us a revenge review.
it has a negative impact in our bookings.

please let us know what we can do to improve our listing on the platform and in general.

all honest critics are appreciated๐Ÿ˜Š

@Valerie1112 Hello! Your place has a really adorable design! I love your color scheme. It definitely looks like a place I'd want to stay. However when you think about the practical aspects, you might change a few things. First, is the small hot plate the only cooking appliance? If so it's much too small to use for more than one person for any length of stay. Are you intending the space to be only for a weekend? Then it's acceptable. For me, if I am coming from the US, I will be staying at least a week and will not dine out for every meal. If that were the case, I would then just go to a hotel. Please remember that your competition is the hotels. Cooking is a major reason why some choose Airbnb instead. A second reason might be cost, but there are also inexpensive hotels. For me, 1 towel is also very inconvenient. Is it really a big deal to have 3 bath towels per stay so there is an extra? Also a hand towel and 2 wash cloths is a basic set. There should also be a kitchen towel. In the bedroom, I feel a double bed is not big enough for a couple. A queen bed is really the minimum if that is the main bed. It's ok in a second bedroom or for short stays but for a week long holiday, it can be unbearable if you are more than 2 tiny people. My partner is 200 lbs and 6 feet tall. I would not be comfortable in just a double bed with him! I would suggest a larger bed even if it makes the room tight. Get smaller tables. The bed is very important! Have you stayed in your unit? I would definitely suggest you take a week and stay there as if you were a guest and see what needs arise. See through their eyes! Best of luc

Hi Angela,

i really appreciate your comments ๐Ÿ˜Š and time.

We had this appartment first for long term for a couple and then we changed it to airbnb.

We were inspired in small apartments in big cities such as amsterdam, france and the concept of tiny houses in the US.

I just put a picture of the stove. So it is clear that they can cook on it and have it as an extra option ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

I will definitely take the towel suggestion into consideration.

Also will put the info about how big the bed is,  so couples know exactly what they can expect if they book this space.

Thank you !
