Do you provide body wash, shampoo & conditioner?

Hey guys,

Do you hosts provide body wash, shampoo & conditioner in the bathroom? Wondering if it's expected by guests or not. Thank you!

@Alain1308 Yes, and I find people used them over 50% of the time, I use large Cosotco-size bottles  - no one has ever taken the entire bottle. I also include under the sink a toothbrush toothpaste set, cotton balls, feminine products, (someone also left a wrapped condom  - trying to help a guest out I guess) bar soap (for their personal use), hair spray,  a razor, Q-tips,  tissue, extra TP (I have found more then one 2-night guest take all 4 rolls (probably headed to a dry cabin or liked the nice 2-ply).

Hi @Alain1308, Hope you are doing well🌻.

I noticed in the comments that many of our lovely hosts prefer providing these amenities for a guest's convenience.

Are you contemplating the addition or removal of these personal care products from your listing? We would love to hear your take on this!

@Alain1308 I've always supplied body wash and never had a problem. It's really good kind that I like. Guest like it also as they use it.

About 6 months ago I included travel size shampoo, conditioner and small bar of soap in a zip lock pouch. Only 2 guest have used them but it's still a nice touch.

Also supply laundry detergent, pump hand soap in bathroom (guest use a lot of this) and same hand soap in kitchen, plus dish soap, lots of TP, paper towels, and cloth dish towels.

I've always thought guest should supply their own tooth brush, tooth paste, etc and so far no complaints.
