Good day Hosts.
I am in South Africa.
I just had a guest from Germany.
When I asked him if there is anything he would like changed he replayed . If we can put off the WIFI at night and the guests can use something they put in there phone. All for better health. What is out there I don't know about ?
Regards Latetia
@Latetia0 a small minority of people think the radiation from a wifi router is dangerous. I don't think there is a single scientific study that believes this to be the case. Just ignore the kook and carry on would be my advice.
I have no other WIFI options. We only have MTN WIFI. We tried others but MTN was the best. Here in SA.
Is there any other options I can explore ?
Hi @Latetia0, have you considered joining the Local Hosts Club? You can join the nearest Local Host Club to connect with fellow hosts local to your area. You can share your experiences, exchange valuable knowledge and get advice. Here's a link to the Local Host Clubs.
Additionally, I'd like to tag some lovely hosts who are also based in South Africa in the hopes they can further advise you 🙏🏽 @Jeanne827 @Lindie6 @Chantal1013
Please do let us know how you get on, hope you can find alternative options 😊
Look at my reply to Mike.
It's amazing how you call people kooks. Wifi is a fairly new technology and we don't quite know it's long-term effects. I don't know what the answer is but you should be inquisitive before you shame others.

"RF fields do not ionise cell genome or damage cells and tissues in any direct way, but research indicates that they affect living organisms via thermal effects (tissue heating) and non-thermal effects such as vibration and rotation of molecules (especially those that have an asymmetric charge or that are polar in structure), oxidative stress, genetic damage, or altered cell membrane permeability"
