Quiet season

Hello All,

These last three months have been absolutely dead quiet for me. Not even  single inquiry from being non stop busy in the summer.

What can I do to attract bookings to my place?

You have (3 amazing) properties! You definitely should be getting more bookings! Some tweaking of the listing may help you out. I mostly looked at the Black Milkwood. Other hosts can also help you with ideas. The goal is to appear in search results as much as possible. If your property is way towards the bottom of search results, guests won’t see your property thumbnail. If they can’t see it, they can’t book it. Try to imagine yourself as the guest and all the things you would want to know about the property before booking and add this to your listing.

For now I would make the attached photo as your cover shot (it needs some tweaking) but will be better to highlight the hot tub and fireplace more than an interior shot.

Title - Add *Hot Tub* to Title

Listing Description

Expand your Listing section. It seems kinda bare bones? I can’t tell if this is a condo, townhome, single family residence, apt from your title or description. It looks like it might be an apt or condo? What type of fireplace? Gas, wood-burning, electric?

Captions - put captions on all photos

Availability - consider 3 night min instead of 5night min so listing appears in more searches

Resoponse Rate - Aim for 90% or higher

Photos - seem dark & cloudy day when taken? No photos of mountain view or beach? Take a new pix of fire going in fireplace; I would cover propane tank with something or take it out of photo.

Amenities - Go thru this entire section and update everything (add details when you see button). Add fire/carbon monoxide alarms. They are inexpensive, a safety feature and then you won't have a strike-thru under amenities for smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm .

I can send you more details on how to create a new killer cover photo if you're interested. You can send me a private message. Make your cover photo for now. Retake with fire going; remove propane tank from photoMake your cover photo for now. Retake with fire going; remove propane tank from photo

@Abigail284  Did you update your check out instructions and your account profile and answer all the new passport questions?

have you updated your listing recently?

what % of your market is occupied on airbnb?

Thank you for all the feedback @Joan2709 . Pictures have been a nightmare to get right as I am not in the country and deligating from afar is not easy but will do some tweaking and hopefully start getting some more hits again 🙂
