While booking for a stay, guests often look into the listing location — whether it's surrounded by scenic beauty (mountains or lakes), nearby local attractions or if your listing is located in the heart of the city.  

I'm really curious to hear from our hosts — whether it's a stunning view, rich local culture, or hidden gems that only locals know about! What is special about your listing location?

It’s a small studio flat, entirely private, in the foothills of The Peaj District. Dog friendly and suited to hikers and ramblers of any age.

Hi @Tony1840 , it's wonderful to read that you have a pet friendly listing 🐶 Do you often leave any house rules for guests with pets though? 

What activities and local attractions can guests typically explore nearby?

All amenities and popular attractions are mentioned in my information post. The reference to dogs and other pets has certainly boosted interest in the flat.

The views of the "Snake Pass" are breathtaking! I can't imagine how beautiful it must be during Summer and Fall season. How are the winters though?

The Snake Pass is nearby and cannot be seen from my place but what you can see and where l am located is at the beginning of The Woodhead Pass (A628).

Winters are very variable now, they used to be quite cold and snow was usually present. However over recent years, with the influence of climate shift, they have become wetter and warmer than the past. Still a lovely place to live though and a great open space area if you are a visitor from more suburban or city areas.

Our listing all have beautiful panoramic ocean views !! They are really beautiful, fully stocked , tastefully decorated and also close to descanso beach/ town . There are also a lot of fun activities including mini golf, zipping, parasailing, jet skis , fishing, kayaking and more….

What do guests usually highlight in their reviews?

They enjoy natures beauty and so do we ! The fun part about Catalina and Hamilton cove is there are many activities to do and things to learn as well but you can also just completely relax and unplug. Catalina is easy to get to and yet seems like a world away! We enjoy hosting and sharing our special magical island with guests.

My units are on the intercoastal waterway and have a 2 acre waterfront field to enjoy for fishing, sunbathing or in anyway you like. We are also walking distance from one of the only dog beaches, and a variety of restaurants. Only 2 mile drive to over 10+ public beach accesses, the Gulf Arium and the okaloosa boardwalk and fishing pier. Only 4 miles from Destin.

Located right in the heart of Condado with direct access to the beach. Within a rrendy neighborhood's of restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, and casinos. You can also enjoy the nightlife with bars, clubs, and the famous "La Placita" within a short walking distance.
