Does anyone know if tickets can be purchased at event.  I'm getting mine now, but I'm not sure if my husband will be joining me and I rather wait before wasting money on him?

@Julie61  Go to airbnbopen.com for information about the tickets.  I believe you can but the fee is a bit higher.

The last two Opens didn't offer onsite tickets. Such an event is a huge challenge for the organizer, so he has to do a lot of advance planning, and needs to know the participants.

Definitely no to buying tickets at the event; imagine the chaos it would cause if hosts from all round the world just turned up and bought a ticket at the door!

For logistical reasons (the event is also very high security or at least has been in the past) you'll only be able to buy them in advance...
