Following @J-Renato0's idea and seeing that many of you enjoy your movie nights (hey, not much else to do these days), we thought it's a good time for another movie game.
The following films have succeeded in the test of time. Some were praised by critics, while others have impacted pop culture and are popular no matter where you are or which era is your speciality, and some are just plain good fun.
So the big question is, can you guess the films from a single image?
As always, let's have one guess per turn so more people can play and enjoy the game. Feel free to add more photos in the comments to keep this going.
Most importantly, have fun!
Nick

@Nick We also watched Home Alone over Christmas. The pizza delivery scene while the gangster scene is playing never fails to slay me - "1...2...TEN!"
5- The Pink Panther - Steve Martin 🤣
Always good to have a Steve Martin comedy handy , for a little humour.
Have you seen all these 20 movies? @Nick
Couldn't agree more @Laura2484 I saw Father of the Bride while on holidays a few weeks ago. Such a good laugh.
I've seen all of them, how about you?
I'm with @Laura2484 on this, not entirely sure what I'm seeing on that photo. Any hints for us @J-Renato0 ?
I think that only the ones who whatched that film whould recognize that scene/picture 🙂
See my other recent post... 🙂
@Nick 1. 2001 : A Space Odyssey ! The scene where the astronauts are in the pod trying to decide what to do about Hal.
From IMDB :-
Dave Bowman : Hello, HAL. Do you read me, HAL?
HAL : Affirmative, Dave. I read you.
Dave Bowman : Open the pod bay doors, HAL.
HAL : I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.
Dave Bowman : What's the problem?
HAL : I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do.
Dave Bowman : What are you talking about, HAL?
HAL : This mission is too important for me to allow you to jeopardize it.
Dave Bowman : I don't know what you're talking about, HAL.
HAL : I know that you and Frank were planning to disconnect me, and I'm afraid that's something I cannot allow to happen.
Dave Bowman : [feigning ignorance] Where the hell did you get that idea, HAL?
HAL : Dave, although you took very thorough precautions in the pod against my hearing you, I could see your lips move.
Dave Bowman : Alright, HAL. I'll go in through the emergency airlock.
HAL : Without your space helmet, Dave? You're going to find that rather difficult.
Dave Bowman : HAL, I won't argue with you anymore! Open the doors!
HAL : Dave, this conversation can serve no purpose anymore. Goodbye.
Same source @Michelle53
HAL : [His shutdown] I'm afraid. I'm afraid, Dave. Dave, my mind is going. I can feel it. I can feel it. My mind is going. There is no question about it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I'm a... fraid. Good afternoon, gentlemen. I am a HAL 9000 computer. I became operational at the H.A.L. plant in Urbana, Illinois on the 12th of January 1992. My instructor was Mr. Langley, and he taught me to sing a song. If you'd like to hear it I can sing it for you.
Dave Bowman : Yes, I'd like to hear it, HAL. Sing it for me.
HAL : It's called "Daisy."
HAL : [sings while slowing down] Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do. I'm half crazy all for the love of you. It won't be a stylish marriage, I can't afford a carriage. But you'll look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two.
This thread seems to be escalating quickly 😂😂😂
@Nick It's been a couple of days, and since I totally paused* - I'm going to add one -
18. Clueless
* name the scene
hahaha @Ann72 of course, very welcome to go for it.
I think the scene is when he realises he has a crush on Cher?
