You know how special your space is, but it can be challenging to make yours stand out among the millions of listings on Airbnb. An easy way to tell more people about your listing is to name your space and personalize your listing by creating a custom link—a unique web address that captures the essence of your property and makes it simpler for potential guests to find and book your space.
To get you started, we’re sharing the inspiration behind some of the most creative custom web addresses hosts have made so far, along with their top tips.
Any host on Airbnb can create their very own web address for their listing. Access to these personalized web addresses is available in all 62 languages supported by Airbnb, but the links themselves are only available in English characters.
Though anyone can browse your listing by typing your unique link into their web address bar, the link will redirect to your default Airbnb listing link that ends with a string of numbers. So, don’t be confused if your personalized web address changes once you type it into your web address bar.
Consider asking friends or family to share their favorite aspects of your property, and explore their ideas. “There was definitely a brainstorming session,” says Superhost Priscilla of Atlanta, who created unique web addresses for her three properties: blue-atlanna, yellow-atlanna, and visitatlanna (which is an Airbnb Plus listing).
“In Atlanta, the locals don't say ‘Atlanta’ but some rendition of ‘Atlanna’ or ‘Atlannuh,’” Priscilla says. “My best friend, Johnny, and I came up with ‘Visit Atlanna’ because it was literal yet cheeky enough to build a brand around.” Same goes for her other two colorful apartments in the heart of Midtown East, each of which are true to their name.
Follow these three simple steps:
What you choose as your link can be an attention-grabbing way to reveal a little more of your personality as a host. Just like the title of your listing on Airbnb, your web address should be short and sweet—100 characters is the maximum, but shorter is easier to remember.
We asked some Superhosts who have already made their web addresses to share the inspiration behind the catchy names they chose. Here are their top tips for making a great web address:
A personalized web address can make it easier for guests to find your listing, and having one can be another way for you to stand out as a host. Or as Superhost John, who chose alohamaui, says: “It’s nice to just be able to give someone a link that’s easier to remember than a bunch of numbers.”

I created QR code. Whoever takes picture of QR code will be sent to my airbnb listing. I have it printed on a back of my t-shirt which i wear when i travel abroad.
I don't follow any of this!!! Far too confusing. What exactly are you offering?
When i click on "Customize your link", I just get my normal listing page on Airbnb! There is no option to "customize" it. Help!!
Hello @Bill972,
Hopefully these steps will help you get to the right place to create your custom URL:
1. Go to “Listings” in your Airbnb App or on the Airbnb site
2. Click on the listing for which you’d like to create a custom link
3. Scroll down past the photos and location sections to “Custom Link” and click the 'Edit' button.
4. Click on that to create or update your link.
Fingers crossed you can find it, do let me know how you get on? Thanks. 🙂

Me parece una buena información, sin embargo no entiendo cómo personalizar mi propio link, podrían proporcionarme más información delo tema o más detallada para saber qué hacer?
Ya encontré donde se hace el link personal y listo! ha quedado 🙂 gracias Airbnb
I'm not techy, so I'm not sure if this link I made is good or not. Is it too long?

I have found “ About the Listing” but not “Listing Details”. The list in “About the Listing” is not the same as the list provided in the email : photos, rooms, spaces, access, title ...etc. I am no doubt missing sometime. I have done both the “hosting” and “ travelling” sites and cannot find it. Please help
The link is a great idea. The problem is that when I message a potential guest with a link to another property that may be a better fit or closer to where they want to, airbnb messaging app replies with "web address hidden." How can I use this link to send to guests and potential guests if AirBnB blocks it because it thinks I'm trying to re-direct people to some other web site?
Sadly, this is yet another example of Airbnb implementing many fixes, additions, changes, etc without apparently going through an alpha and then a beta check of the changes before they go "live". It has been a problem for the life of Airbnb.... Will it ever change? Let's hope so. This practice discourages brilliant techies from joining Airbnb because this practice gives the techies a bad name and reputation. I tried to get a very brilliant and very experienced system developer to contact Airbnb and he wouldn't consider it because of the poor reputation of all Airbnb systems.
Can someone give us the steps needed to create this custom link?
When I click on "Custom Link", this takes me to my listings. Then no idea on what to do next to create our personal custom link.
Any direction will be appreciated.
Thanks
Samia
I can’t see in my listing how to create the link.
Hello @Nicole2023,
Not sure if you have found how to do this yet, but if not, hopefully these steps will be useful:
1. Go to “Listings” in your Airbnb App or on the Airbnb site
2. Click on the listing for which you’d like to create a custom link
3. Scroll down past the photos and location sections to “Custom Link” and click the 'Edit' button.
4. Click on that to create or update your link.
Do let me know, if you can, how you get on.
Thank you,
Lizzie

I have no idea what this information on custom link is telling me. I'm a Superhost; is there something I can do or change with this info? Totally baffled I'm afraid.
