Air BNB automatically blocking dates after booking

Does anyone else have issues with Air BNB automatically blocking the 5 days leading up to a booking ?

It's happening to me immediately after a reservation is made. 

I have contacted air BNB support each time this has happened, with no success.

@Frankie105 I don't know if this has anything to do with your issue, but the last couple of years, I noticed that around this time of year, something weird was happening with the calendar.

Because I host long term guests, I have a long minimum stay and anything less than that will automatically be blocked on the calendar. However, the system was treating the unbooked dates in December as completely detached from the ones in January and therefore blocking way more dates than it should have. It's like it was starting from scratch on 1st January. 

I don't know if this glitch is still happening because this time I don't have such long gaps (I had less bookings the past two winters due to COVID). However, I can see that the calendar is still doing odd things, like applying my advance notice period, which is two days, seven days prior to a booking...

That’s very interesting, so it sounds like the calendar air bnb glitches are more common than I thought.

To be honest, I can't recall now. If I wasn't able to manually unblock the dates, then I might have gone in and created rule sets for them to override the settings. If I remember, I'll let you know.

As for the current glitch I mentioned, you can see it here.

Note, the period from the 10th to 19th is blocked on the top listing due to my 28 day minimum stay, which is normal. However, the 13th and 14th don't have minimum stay specified.

When I click on one of those dates, it tells me it's blocked due to my advance notice period, which is two days, but obviously that doesn't make sense as that should apply to the 18th and 19th instead.

Now, this isn't a problem for me, as I want those dates blocked anyway as I only accept long term stays. However, if I didn't have a long minimum and it was blocking two days in the middle of a booking window for no reason, that would be a big problem!
