I recently had guests who broke the house rules and had a party on New Years Eve when we have our listing set up with a "no parties" rule. The home is in a quiet neighborhood of smaller homes and older residents and parties tend to cause issues with parking and noise. I specifically pointed this out to the guests when they booked. They threw a party anyway. We decided to ask them to leave and worked with Airbnb to cancel their reservation. I followed Airbnb's recommendations and directions to the letter in dealing with this situation. We had recently installed a security system on the property, which I disclosed in the listing. It turns out that I put it in the wrong section of the listing and was asked to move it, which I did, immediately. Despite all of this, and me NOT BEING AT FAULT Airbnb has suspended my listing. I have called probably 6 times and messaged 6 times and everyone keeps saying that it was probably done in error and that they will escalate it to "the correct team" and "mark it urgent" but my listing is still suspended and no one has replied to me via message or phone call. I am getting so frustrated with Airbnb. Has anyone had this happen to them? What did you do about it? How long did it take Airbnb to resolve the issue? Every day I'm not listed is lost revenue and I have bills to pay!
