An inquiry by the guest

Hello Fellow members  here especially my host counterparts,

Just need your kind response and advice here as i received an inquiry from one of my first very guest and then did responded and assured her that the days booked were very okay for me and i was ready to do the hosting but i did not get any response from this person and of course had no profile so it made me wonder may be it was not real

Wondering if any of you have encountered any challenge like mine and here need to know your experience on how you managed such a situation

Love to hear from you and wish you this great week as it comes to an end

@Ibrahim260 Some guests send out multiple inquiries and just follow through on one of them. Just ignore this and hopefully bookings will come soon.

Thanks @Paula for the question for @Ibrahim260 to me if there was an enquiry about certain dates and you replied the person has 24 hrs to complete the booking. They may have asked the same question to a number of hosts and waiting for best response before they decide. 

Sadly you don't get a full profile until after they book.

Hello my great friends here in this platform,

I would really love to thankyou all as  per your great ideas and responses that you had tto give me in regard to my concern in the matter of the quests inquiry

I must say that i have got the most appropriate answers and guidance since am new ib the host forum and i really love learning a lot from each other

I hope that one day as team from this platform we have get together party so that we really meet one in one and i leave this to the administrators

All the great people here who gave me guidance please keep it up and i wish to hear more and more from you the experienced hosts and continue guiding me and our friends too for the betterment of this great platform.

Am also proud that may be am only one or a few from Uganda in the platform interacting with different people in the globe and makes me really strong

@Ibrahim260 thank you for your note. Most of us who participate on the forum are here to help one another. I have learnt a lot from the topics on this page over a short 4 years of reading and trying to help with sharing my experience as a host

I still learn something different with each topic.

Hi @Ibrahim260  and welcome to the community,

I have found consistently that when there is an inquiry directed to me about a booking date or general listing inquiries there has never been a picture nor any history of the person asking with the exception of how many reviews they had. I personally find this weird but work with it.

Not sure if that what happens to other hosts but I have come to also realize there are several different 'versions' of AirBnB apps for hosts. I happened on meeting 3 hosts at a party and we couldn't stop laughing at the differences. I have no clue why either.
