32% of my bookings are via Airbnb. 68% from other sources. I seldom have problems connecting the calendars via the standard connectors on the websites. If I call VRBO, they are very customer friendly and help me very well
@Bob297...Thanks for mentioning syncing the calendars, which site did you use to sync them, I'm worried about abnb. Also interesting you get fewer bookings from abnb, have you noticed whether those are people from another country.?
@Wende2 You can sync them directly without any other program. From each calendar, you can set up an import en get a code for export. I get guests from all over the world. I have properties in the Caribbean and The Netherlands.
the exact percentage distribution is a matter of chance. In 2021 and 2022, I had zero bookings through tripadvisor. For 2023, I already have 30 days of rentals through them. I am getting more and more guests coming for the 2nd, 3rd or 4th time. They prefer to book directly. At the end of 2021 I got a reservation for 3 months through a small Dutch website that hardly anyone has heard of 🙂 All in all, I'm glad I don't have all my eggs in one basket. By the way, I'm generally happy with the guests that book with us through Airbnb
@Bob297..I agree with...eggs in one basket, I need to get on all the sites that have homes offered. I have repeats too, but they don't book ahead for the next visit til the dates get closer. And how great for your 2023.!
