Calendar Blocking more dates than speechified

Is anyone else having massive trouble simply blocking and unblocking dates? I tried to block Sept 21-October 2 and then Airbnb blocks the entire month of September.

when I try to unblock it will tell me that it can’t unblock them. Those dates are then added to a Custom Trip section which I remove and then I am back to the same problem.

Hi @Jena45!

Yikes! Did you perhaps opt in to the New Summer Release? Many hosts that have done so have had alot of calendar issues, especially if you had previous set custom pricing by date, custom mininmum stays etc. The system gets "stuck" on any previous custom settings you set before the new release and won't let your override them.

Here is the work around for now. You have to turn on Pro Tools and use Rule sets to override previous custom settings, or apply new ones. All hosts can do this, even if you only have one property (previously, Airbnb restricted Pro Tools to Hosts with 6 or more properties). So far it has been working for other hosts with the same issues. Link for Community Guide for Using Pro Tools (has screen shots) below:

Another option is to choose "unavailable by default" in your calendar availability, then try to manually unblock all the dates you want open.

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes and if either suggestion works for you!
