Hi - Initially I changed my listing from 'room' to 'entire place.' After which I was doing a search to make sure it appeared correctly (as though I was looking for a place to rent in my area). It showed up with no filtering, however, when I filtered for 'entire place' - it didn't show up - and when I filtered for 'room' it showed up. Then I noticed that it was categorized in 'Room.' (which it's necessary to log in to Elevate - and request a change that could take up to 3 days to get apprval - according to the person I talked to - I explained this means I am losing out on bookings - but there was nothing he could specifically do then to change it. So, I decided to just duplicate my booking, and when it asked, I chose 'entire place.' However, that listing has no catagory attached at all. And I checked in Elevate, there is no option to categorize the listing as 'entire place.' Anybody have any insight...?
oh, and with no category at all - It doesn't show up for either filter. So if someone filters for room and someone filters for entire place - neither will see that listing 😳
How recently did you publish the new listing?
You are correct. There is no category for "Entire Place/Home". There is only a category for "Room". There is a search filter for "Entire Place/Home" though.
It can take up to 24-72hrs for a new listing to be visible to guests on Airbnb:

Once you change your status to Listed, it's usually visible within 24 hours, but it may take up to 72 hours for this update to be reflected in search results.
Hello @Victoria2377
You have two active listings - one for the entire apartment and for a room with both calendars open and bookable. So if I book the room, I'll get the whole apartment is that right?
Have you linked the calendars to avoid double bookings? Be aware that Airbnb are monitoring duplicate listings and some hosts are finding that both end up suspended.
@Joelle43 Yes, that listing was supposed to be for entire apartment. I switched that listing over from room to apartment recently, but the category did not update. So search filter for entire place does not show my original listing due to the incorrect categorization of rooms. So I made the second thinking it would be categorized correctly when I selected the new listing as entire place. However, there is no categorization attached for that new listing at all. So, for the new listing, using the search filter 'entire place', it doesn't show up either.
Yes, I have linked the calendars to avoid any booking overlaps. In reality, I want to keep the original listing and have it categorized correctly since I have hosting and review history. So, hope fully it gets corrected and I can delete the 'new listing.' At least when there is no search filter, the new listing auto-titled as 'Apartment in Luthagen'
Hello @Victoria2377
So if I'm following correctly, on your listing with the 5* reviews😊 it is still showing as a room even though you've tried to change that to show "entire place" under Type of listing on the listing?
On this listing it also says that there are some shared spaces - have you gone into the rooms where you indicated that there were some shared spaces and unticked this information as well? If you haven't, this might be the reason why this listing is not changing to an entire place? Trying to think like a bot😂 I apologise if you have already thought of this.
@Joelle43 correct 🙂 - I did go through and change shared spaces to private; can you tell me where you are still seeing shared spaces? Thanks for your reply! I need a bot like you then 😉
Here is a screenshot that shows that there are some shared spaces under the bit Room in an apartment:
