Garage use

Garage use

We are hosts to our own rentals and also hosting for other landlords. How do you generally handly this ? If a guest who came to town for a funeral starts to bring boxes and stuffs to sort in the garage from the deceasep person's home. Personally, if the the items are not explosive and not damaging the space and as long as they clean up before check out, I do not see anything concerning. But one of the owners prohibits this and insist on making them stop bringing and sorting items in her garage even if we listed the use of the garage as one of our amenities. What do you guys think?

I think the guest should have asked in advance whether this would be acceptable @Sigua-Vacations0

i agree it's not appropriate to think that's part of their space to use unless your listing specifies it is to be used by the guests. Are you able to lock this garage? Perhaps a sign to deter future use might be an idea as well - although I know you shouldn't have to. My limited experience of guests has shocked me more than once.
