Have to log out twice?

Hi, I have been doing fine until recently.

 

First I changed my phone number. So informed Airbnb of the new number.

 

Now when I log out of AirBNB on the PC I have to do it twice before it logs me out.

 

I have asked AirBNB support for whats going on but they haven't got back to me yet.

 

Has anybody else experienced this problem? What was your fix?

 

I am running Windows 10 LTSC 64 bit, with Firefox browser version 114.1 64 bit. I do not save passwords to the browser.

Hello @Tejay0, I've seen similar cases in our Community, and some of them have been resolved by following these steps:

 

  1. Log out from your browsers.
  2. Close all browser windows/tabs on those devices/browsers.
  3. Open a new window on each affected browser.
  4. Clear cache, cookies, and browser history on browser.
  5. Login with your Email that is associated with your Host account.

Thank you for your reply.

 

AirBNB support have come back to me and said their technicians cannot see anything (or similar), but ironically my problem has gone away. And I did nothing. So nobody is taking credit for this, but I do have other websites I also login to, and none of those were giving me similar problems.

 

Regarding your item 4, I never keep cookies, and the cache is cleared automatically upon shutting down each time. And regarding 5, I always use email and password login.
