How to charge extra fee after the stay?

I have a guest that is staying in my home that is listed for 1 person.

They had a girlfriend stay over night last night.

They have one more night to stay tonight.

I want to charge extra for this after the stay but I don't see a way to do this.

I don't want to change the reservation pricing during the stay because I don't know if they will do the same thing tonight.

I don't want to discuss this during the stay because of the possibility of  malice on their part to possibly do something else damaging.

Is there a way to charge an extra fee after the stay for a policy violation or for a broken or missing item?

@Alan1009  You would request the fee via the Resolution Center. You'd click on the reservation and under Support there's a place to "Send or Request Money."

Ok thanks @Suzanne302 , that sounds like an arbitrary method but I guess I'll try that.

You may want to add a House Rule -since renting as a vacation rental in 2004, I've seen guests take advantage of every loophole. I've compiled the House Rule from a number of other rental agreements/listings of other hosts and my own specific concerns.

No Third-Party Reservations. The booking guest must be attending and present for the duration of the reservation. No other guests other than those listed on the reservation are allowed on the property.

"No guests/visitors. Not even for a moment! We couldn't be more serious about this rule. Only those people whose names have been provided at the time of booking are allowed on the property. No family, friends, co-workers, Uber drivers, no one! Our Business Insurance only allows the registered guests listed on the reservation in the home or on the property and other guests inhibit our ability to verify COVID vaccination status. If anyone not registered is found on the property, a charge of $100.00 per person above and beyond those on the original reservation will be assessed with an additional $100 fee penalty for the Security Management officials. This charge is for any amount of time of a violation and the guest will be charged for each violation. Any violation will also result in immediate removal of the entire group with no refunds."

By requiring all guests be listed you may also avoid some of the ID issues Hosts speak about, too.

Who is they, if its only 1? Easy to send a request, we do this all the time. Best to make light of the subject 'This request is for extra person, one night; if staying a 2nd please make it 'X'.

The minute they leave think of ways for this not happening again if that is what YOU want. Good Luck.
