@Susie358 I noticed you had a seven night minimum rule? This will deter quite a few people. Can you set a shorter stay period?

Hi @Susie358

Your listing is so bright and colourful, a lovely pop of joy in the current grey weather that's been dominating down south in London! Have you taken care of the renovations and decoration yourself?

In addition to Stephen's suggestions, I'd love to ask a few of our other hosts for some feedback - @Nash-Cottages-LLC0 @Patricia3721 @Hazel184 @Cheri354 @Wilderness2 what do you think?

Thank you everyone 🌻

Emilie

Hi @Emilie

Yes, I did the renovations myself. i a glad you like the bright colours.

@Emilie thanks for the tag!

@Susie358 You have put so much work into creating an adorable, relaxing and bright space. What a gem of a place!

I concur with @Stephen1915 regrading the 7-day minimum. If you need to set that minimum during certain times of the year, I would understand. But, I'm wondering if you can lower that minimum for most months of the year. Or, is that a local regulation. If it is a local reg, you might want to share that in your description.  I know some hosts who have set a minimum stay because they want to minimize the number of times they need to turn their place over between guests. Their places take a while to turn over. If you have set that because you need extra time to clean between guests you can always block off a day or two before/after each stay.

@Marie8425 noted that she couldn't make a reservation so please check out that calendar! Airbnb customer service might be able to help you out in case you can't figure it out.

Something I noticed...you've been hosting for 9 months but don't have any reviews. If I were a guest, that could be a big red flag. I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation for the disparity. Look at your price to make sure you are price competitive with the local market. You might want to get creative on how you can get that first review. I'm sure it would alleviate any concerns for a potential guest.

Let us know how things are going for you.

 Hi Judy @Nash-Cottages-LLC0

Thank you for your words of wisdom.

I have opened my bookings for weekends now which should help.

I had someone living in the cottage for 6 months as their place was being renovated hence no bookings online. I have a booking  coming so fingers crossed.

Maybe review your calendar. I couldn't pick a check-in date because Host Unavailable?
