I am locked out of my account

I need help - I am locked out of my account and when I try to verify it, it wants to send a text to my phone however I know longer have that number anymore. Can they send something to my email?? SOS

Hi Lizzie - I don’t have access to a desk top. I travel back and forth  and the IPhone is the best device for me.

Yes, I can see others have encountered the same problem. I would like to know why I was not notified about the lockout. It is usual to be notified if unusual  activity is detected on an account, whether it be FB - Google - and so on. I would like to ask of you to pass that message on to the Airbnb Product Team.

Meanwhile I am picking up half messages on my phone and emails. 

I hope the general problem will be resolved soon though.

High Lizzy im a owner host and im having the same problems accessing my account  they have put me in reveiw and now im unable to access my account . Its causing me so much problems  . I also have an acvount on Booking.com and  Now AirBnb has some how blocked all my available reservations  which is loosing  me guest and effecting my finances .

Could  you please deactivate my account asap as i have had to many issues with Airbnb

I am about to write a very nasty review. It's interesting how Airbnb and can take $1100.00 out of my bank account and then choose to lock me out afterward... hmmm... isn't that interesting?? I talked to a gal on the phone who literally had roosters crowing in the background who "can't help you because I don't understand why you have an error, someone will be contacting you.." Ok. Great job airbnb. Now fix my problem NOW!

I changed my email service provider months ago and recently went in to edit my Airbnb account info with my new email address.  I signed in with my phone number via an SMS code and then, when I went to edit my email it wouldn't accept my password and keeps wanting to send a reset link to my old email...extremely unhelpful.  I phoned and the service reps have no solutions except to set up a new account and lose all my history and reviews with them.  This is such incompetence from a large company.  I have had issues with a few other apps over the years with forgotten passwords and/or changed profile info, but each time there was a solution.  All of them offered alternatives to reset my password and/or email except Airbnb...via some sort of verification safe protocol avenue.  Airbnb has no alternative.  They told me to try phoning the company I hadn't had an email account with for months to see if they would let me use my old obsolete account to get the reset link...I kid you not!  I phoned thinking it sounded unlikely and, of course, was told they don't do that and can't do that.  I asked Airbnb to send the reset link to my validated phone number with them and they don't do that.  As I read through the many repetitive issues surrounding account edits and resets, I realized that not only is this an embarrassing flaw for such a high profile company, but that it is one they are too arrogant to fix.  I am extremely disappointed in the low level of tech support.  Shame on you Airbnb.  This is an oversight that is unacceptable in a professional company @Airbnb
