Hello @Mubashir10

I have been onto your listing and can confirm that it is open for reservations but there is a lot of detail that is missing.  When we first put our listing on Airbnb, we are asked to describe our place in 500 words.  Now that you are live, I would suggest to go back into your listing in host mode and  you'll see that there are new sub headings that you can fill in to better explain what your place has to offer.

Check your amenities too as there are very few that are ticked.

You have very few photos - only one of the two bedrooms showing and none of the three bathrooms.  Make sure you take photos in the best light possible during the day and in landscape mode rather than portrait mode.

Every time we add or change something to our listing, the algorithm picks up on this activity and will increase our chances of being picked.

There are only 15 pages with 18 listings per page that are selected during a search and many of us are in a saturated market (1000 listings to choose from) so not everyone gets picked but as a new host you get a boost from Airbnb (for about a month) so use this time well to make sure your listing is as complete as possible.

When you make a search for your property,(use private mode) enter dates that your place is available and a number of people that your place caters for and see where you appear on those first 15 pages.  Check out your competition to see their prices and the way they display their listing to see if you can get any tips😉

Good luck!

Hi @Mubashir10

@Joelle43 gave great advice. You should use it as it is likely to improve your ranking in the search results.

I have searched for your place using Nilgiris, flexible dates, 5 guests. Although I can see that your listing is live, you're correct that I cannot see you in the search results at all (15 pages) without applying filters.

In addition to the things that @Joelle43 suggested, you can also test a flexible cancellation policy - at the moment yours is not set to flexible. If you're willing to change it, it will be another factor that helps you rank better.

If, after making all of these changes, you still see that you're not ranking in a good position, take a look at the listings that rank well and lower your prices in line with theirs (if necessary).

When searching it is very important that you use private mode and that you're not logged in, as @Joelle43 has said. When you simply switch to the guest view from your own account, your listing will usually automatically rank well (even though it may not rank well when other people search). Good luck!
