Hello everyone, hope this finds you great . Please am so narvous to know how long it takes for listing to get inquiries and bookings after being listed . Since I listed my property now they are two days but still haven’t got anything yet am really very afraid. Can any one help me to also chef my profile and see if everything is okay with my new listing please 🙏.

Hello @Heron54 👋
Welcome to the Community Center! 😊
I hope you don't mind, I added a photo and a link to your listing to your post. I'm hoping that with easier access, more hosts will pop by and support you with constructive and helpful feedback.
I think new listings are usually made visible within 24hours. Sometimes it can take a while for a listing to appear in search results. Ensure your listing is set to “Listed” and saved. Ensure there are no restrictions in your listing settings. You can also refresh your listing by unlisting the property for about 10 minutes and relist it which can sometimes help reset its visibility. I hope this helps. Good luck
Your apartment is beautiful, great location. The decor is stylish and the decor feels cozy and welcoming. I noticed a few small typos on your description. Since there are no reservations yet, you might want to lower your price a bit to attract a few guests. A small discount or special offer works too, for a few weeks.
Best of luck!
The photo's are really lovely and show your apartment off really well. The only critique I would say is the wording. It would read better for potential guests if it was written out with the correct spacing between words, as it reads at present some of it is all bunched up together with incorrect correct spacing or punctuation. To the reader this may appear rushed.
Your apartment is so nice and the pool area, just wow.
I hope that helps and it is only a suggestion.
Best wishes with your listing
Gina
Hi,
I'm a relatively new host too. After being on Airbnb since mid December, I've had about ten bookings. I had very few for the first two/three weeks. I think it's because it's January. It's picking up now. So I wouldn't worry too much.
One tip I've had is that you need to be cheaper than other similar properties in the area until you get some good feedback.
About your listing: your pictures are good, but you clearly aren't a native English speaker. You should get a native English speaker to edit your listing.
Regards,
Graeme.
Hey @Heron54 , I completely understand your frustration but don't worry new listings get a huge boost from Airbnb, I recommend you enable Professional hosting tools in your settings to get more specific data about your listing from views to clicks etc. Regarding your listing you took really good crisp photos but you should add captions to each photo, you description should be more detailed and goes into every room of your property and any other info, make sure all the amenities are checked, your title is only 33 characters make sure to get use of all the maximum 50 and include key amenities and any important local event or attractions if available near instead of specifying one bedroom as it is already specified within the listing details when it appears in the search results, add the 'where you'll sleep" and "accessibility features" sections, also a guidebook of Manama. Hopefully you'll start getting traction soon
Hi Heron,
To me it took 3 days before my listing was visible in the search. I don't know if it helped, but I have deactivated it and set it to become active again on the next day. Then I got an email from Airbnb that the listing will be visible soon. I started to see it in the search results a day later.
2 days is not that long ... AirBNB bookings can take quite some time to occur for new listings unless you have listed during a popular event or season in your town.
A few suggestions:
Lead photos should be the sea view ... that is probably one huge selling point and you want people to see that first. Your can choose your key photo in the app.
Check your spelling, capitalization, spacing. It looks a little sloppy and that doesn't set a good tone.
Make sure your pricing is competitive, even lower than your competition to get you booked faster at first. Once you have some reviews you can adjust your pricing, but you need to look like a great deal. Even consider rewriting your description to say Special Intro Pricing on this Sea View Luxury ..... The first sentences and photo are SO important.
Let us know when you've updated your listing and we'll take another look.
Jennifer
Hope that helps. It took me years to build my following, not days or weeks.
It looks great just ensure your pics are straight
