Pricing my room

Hi, I am new to Airbnb. What would be a reasonable charge for cleaning a single room? Also, I have set my daily booking rate at £45 per night for a single room in Hertfordshire, England. Is this rate considered too high for a single room? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

@Mary6126 To see if your rate is fair you need to search for similar rooms in your locality. Don't forget that Airbnb add on fees so the price you set needs to be lower than the price you see to be competitive.

I charge a contribution to the cleaning fee rather than the whole amount .

Have a look at what others with homeshares are doing in terms of their cleaning fee.
