Tags on keys

Just an idea I though I would share:

We use brass discs (designed for dogs collars) on our keys with the apartment name and a phone number to call if the keys are found anywhere. This came in handy recently when a local supermarket called to say they had our guests keys!

In a larger city, or international resort area, any identifying information on the keytag could compromise the security of the apartment.

@Susan1188 I don't think a phone number that has no link to the listing and a name or apartment number is going to compromise security. There must be any number of say Appt. 21s in Marbella.

Mike & Jane,

Excellent idea & one that I’ll implement. 
Have yet to loose keys but can see the potential. We had a guest ‘break’ a key in the lock which to me was odd. Very easy lock to open too.
If it can happen it probably will.
