hosting regulations in Berlin

Hello, I'm planning to be a host in Berlin but there is a topic that I still couldn't understand fully. That is about hosting regulations: So I'll be the owner of the flat and it will be my main residence. In this case, is there any annually number of day limit for hosting? And would I always have to provide a reason to authorities to explain why I won't be accommodating at my flat on the listing days ?
