set trip length

I am trying to set trip lengths for school holidays so that during this period only a 7 night stay is available. However if a guest tries to book in the days leading up to this period, they seem to be able to still book during the period in which i only allow seven night bookings. Any suggestions how to get around this issue?

Only the settings on the check-in date will be used to determine the trip lenght. Specifying other trip lenght during a specific time period does not put a "wall" around it. Useally the issue can be solved by using limited check-in and/or check-out days
