uploading video to my listing

Hi all,

 A potential guest recently asked for video of my listing before booking. I couldn't figure out how to upload one. Is it possible? I don't see  them on other listings?

As @Guy991 has shared, this seems to be quite a common scam and it's great that you've come to the Community Center for support.  The Airbnb platform doesn't allow video uploads, and so the person may request you to contact them outside of the Airbnb messaging. 

We strongly recommend that you don't engage in communications outside of the Airbnb messaging platform. You can find more information about it on this article: Avoiding fraud, scams, and abuse . 

In particular, I'd like to share this part here: 

• Off-platform activity: Hosts and guests must not communicate, share personal contact information, pay or request payment for a reservation or experience outside of Airbnb’s platform.

Please use the search option in this community—there’s a wealth of knowledge here, including discussions on trending topics like these types of scams. I can tell you that they come in waves, so they will likely return under a different name and inquiry.

One more thing: When reporting, one of the options is "Cancel and Report." Never click any button that includes the word "cancel" on Airbnb. Even if it's a spam inquiry, Airbnb will count it as your cancellation, which is not good for you. Only report if you can do so without canceling the inquiry!
