Creating work from home spaces

Hi! Like most hosts, I've lost upcoming bookings for traveling guests. In the meantime of this pandemic, I'd love to open my listing up to neighbors who need a quiet private space to work from, especially now that cafes and restaurants are not an option. I'm thinking it would be for just one person, during normal business hours M-F at a daily rate. This is a separate space from my personal living area, so there would be no contact.

If this is something others think is a good way to keep earning income while travel is affected, it would be great if Airbnb could make changes to the platform to make this happen. It would help hosts financially and provide neighbors in our community the ability to continue working and being productive.

I really think it would be good for Airbnb to create a new property "type", like house, room, etc... Working office. This would be for hosts who are not sharing spaces with guests

@Sarah3325  I think it's a great idea to advertise it as something like that. What have been Airbnbs could als be offered as spaces for people like therapists, psychologists, etc, who need space to receive clients.

But I'm not sure why you'd have to list as such on Airbnb (although I'm not saying that wouldn't be good, too).Maybe something more local, say Craigslist, or a local radio station that has a venue for community info, would reach more people in one's community. I mean, why would your neighbors think to look on the Airbnb site for something like that?
