3 consecutive trips - should I clean between them?

Hello.

It was my first week of bookings, and I got a couple requesting a trip approval for 3 weeks.  They had no verified ID, so I asked them to do this first.  They also had no reviews and were from out of country. Cautiously, I accepted their request, but in 3 trips - each 1 week.  I did this so I could clean and check on things each week.  What is customary? How should I have handled it?  Also, I had no cancellation policy other than the usual 24 hour one required by Airbnb.  But I feel apprehensive because they have the first 3 weeks of the month booked, and if they cancel, I probably won't be re-booked now.  They are arriving next week.  I texted them 2 weeks ago to see if their trip is still planned, and they said "Of Course!"  How can I handle this better with long term stays?

I'd change my cancellation policy for a start. Won't help for this booking though.

Make sure you have a good record of your conversations with these guests in the airbnb message box.

Do you send a pre-trip message to guests?

did you google them to see if you can find them on socials? this is what i do if i'm worried about no review guests, i try to find them on facebook or linkedin.
