A request from I guest to have someone come in to set up balloons and decorations for a wedding celebration.

New to Airbnb

I just received a request for two guests to stay for two nights. I’ve been informed that they would like to have someone else come in prior to their arrival to set up balloons and decorations. My concern is that this sounds too much like a makings of a party. My other concern is that the individual who is not staying there would have the code to the apartment.  How bad does this look if I decline this request?

they are very persistent and want to know why I can’t comply with their request.

They still want to book it.

@William810 @Rene2022  A "Request to Book" or a "Trip Request"  does require an accept or decline. Only an "Inquiry" does not require accept or decline, just a message response within 24 hours.

That’s excellent advice. Thank you!

I am always cautious with "persistent" guests. And tenants. If they are pushing and hurrying you up it is not good.

You can just decline their request, and say parties are not allowed, visitors are not allowed and only the registered guests can stay at the property day and / or night.

Block them if you can find the way to do it ( I never could)

Thank you!!

I don’t know how to block them.

Found it! Thank you!!

Good call denying and blocking them.
