@Mike-And-Jane0 I don't know if it's true as far as India, with the phone number you posted, but supposed toll-free numbers are not actually toll-free when calling from certain countries. For instance, toll-free numbers in the US or Canada aren't toll-free from Mexico, they would be billed at the normal long distance calling rates, which could get quite pricey if being put on hold for an hour 🙂
I've read posts here before on that. Guests who needed to talk to Airbnb being told by Airbnb that the call is toll-free so it wouldn't cost them anything, only to receive a huge phone bill. It's not an Airbnb issue specifically, just how international calling can work. And the Airbnb reps aren't aware of that.
