AIrbnb customer service is terrible

I've been trying to book a place for the past couple of days and all I keep getting are error messages saying this place isn't available for last minute stays. I tried to book the place almost 10 days in advance and even had the host invite me to stay through the system. None of the links work and I still can't book the room. Customer service is terrible and you can forget about getting a response anytime soon especially if you call their company number.

@Layton71 If you have been trying to book through the phone app, try instead on a computer. That can sometimes solve problems users are experiencing. And Chrome browser works best for Airbnb.

As far as poor customer service, yes, that's a problem for many guests and hosts alike. Contacting them through Twitter is said to get the best results. If you are phoning and they say they'll get back to you, they seldom do. About all you can do is keep phoning back in the hopes that you'll get a better customer service rep the next time.

You can try either changing from a computer to a phone or vice versa or alternatively call customer service and ask them to help you book The Room. It may be that the host has inadvertently blocked or has a rule that is preventing the booking that can easily be changed. For example some house have rules where they blocked the day before and the day after a previous booking. Good luck!
