Account Suspension

I've been with airbnb for some time. I'm a superhost with 797 reviews and as well as my 6 properties I manage 74 properties for other host. I say this just to reiterate that I've dealt with a lot of issues in the past but this is new!

Almost a month ago I logged on to see that every listing on my account had been suspended! Thankfully the listings for the other hosts weren't truly suspended as they were active on their profiles and still continue to book but my personal ones were truly suspended. I've reach out to Airbnb 2-3 times a week and have always gotten the same response with no avail. "We will make a note on your account". "We will flag it as a priority". As of yet, I have not gotten a single response from my case manager or even an explanation as to why my listings would have been suspended!

Going through our records at that time and there were no guest issues short of a guest at a property I manage for another host mentioning a damaged leg on a bed.

I'm honestly at a loss. I don't know why I've been suspended. I've given plenty of time for them to resolve things. Short of deleting my account, losing all of my reviews & superhost, and starting fresh, I don't know what to do.

@Timothy-and-Kristin0   Clicking your profile I see that all 80 listings are not blocked and can still, be viewed and booked. Perhaps … and hopefully is has been resolved now

@Kate867

Still Suspended!
Most I'm a co-host on and can be viewed and booked but my personal ones such as Mid-Century Escape Apt 1 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/48900943) & Mid-Century Escape Apt 2 (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/49656531) cannot be viewed or booked....

Yet another of these unexplained and unanswered suspensions. This seems to be a constant issue. Can anything be done to stop 'trust and safety' suspending listings without warning and without explanation and leaving the hosts hung out to dry for an indeterminable time?

It's not just bad for hosts. It's bad for guests too. It's not fun to have your booking cancelled a the last minute.

Have you seen anyone that was able to find any answers? Even just a why it happened would be great! I've basically run out my existing bookings and now have 6 vacant units.....

It seems random to be honest. Some hosts are, like you, completely baffled, but CS refuse to tell them what the issue is. Often, the host is told they have to 'fix' the problem, but how does one do that when one doesn't know what the problem is in the first place?

Other hosts have an inkling because they've had a problematic guest recently who likely complained, e.g. one that was refused a refund or asked to pay damages and then retaliated by raising a false complaint.

In other cases, CS told the host what the problem was.

There seems to be no rhyme nor reason to it.

I've only once had a guest contact Airbnb to complain (to my knowledge at least). In my case, luckily CS did not take this complaint seriously. I am guessing it's because the guest was a bit unhinged and irrational but I still find it strange that they never contacted me, let alone opened any case about it. I only found out because a week later, I called CS to ask them to tell this guest to leave. They casually mentioned that she had complained about me a week before, but said they couldn't tell me what it was about for 'confidentiality' reasons. I was fortunate in this case because CS totally sided with me and, after reading the correspondence with the guest, told her to leave.

However it seems to be the luck of the draw...

Well 30 days later they are back up and listed. No contact still from airbnb or any form of explanation as to why this happened. As happy as I am to have them back up, I'm pissed that someone could shut them down for that long costing me thousands and I'm not even informed or told why....
