AirBNB are threating me with removing me from the community based upon a guest false accusation.

So i get a terrible gust and he gives me a terrible review.

This guest was upset because I told him off for leaving my back door open! and leves me this revenge review.

He complains of the cancelation policy even though he left before the booking had ended.

The guest said "House is poorly located if you want to reach Whiteknight's campus/are on foot. " yet has given me a 5 star rating for location!.

has a lot of "rules" that are not always easy to follow (hard locks to close, recycling rules difficult to follow when you are not a local, ...).

To lock the door you pull handle up and turn key to the right instructions were on the door it's self how hard is that?

What is the most worrying is the way he has fabricated this:

"I suspected several times that Paul visited my bedroom (no keys to lock it)".  - I respect my  gusets privacy and never entered his room.

AirBNB are saying this " If we receive a similar report in the future, we may remove you from the Airbnb community."

So a guest can lie about me going into their room and I will get removed

Unpleasant orders in the bathroom - he would go to the toilet and never flush the toilet.

I am seriously considering stopping using AirBNB.

@Paul75

I can see why you would be very upset to receive such a message from airbnb.

It seems very unfair. think of it this way - it's not personal - it's been sent by a robot and in all likelihood means nothing at all based on the rest of your reviews which are on the whole, very good.

It's always upsetting to get a unreasonable guest who leaves an unfair review.

Might I suggest not writing a response to such a review when you are still feeling worked up? Its best to keep your responses brief and factual and imagine that you are talking to potential future guests.  It's a great idea to come to these boards and ask for help re this - post what you plan to say - or just ask for advice. There are usually plenty of people willing to help.

I can absolutely understand why you feel like leaving the platform right now, but after a few more straightforward guests this will all seem a distant memory.  Any potential guest reading your listing and your past review will see remy's post for what it is. I know I would
