Hello! I’m currently working on a school project and was wondering if any hosts could take a moment to answer some questions? I know that you all have been going through a lot right now during this pandemic, and I’m trying to design a way to alleviate some of these stressors (damages, fear of retaliation, low ratings, etc). Thank you in advance for everything you do! 

1. Would you pay (monthly or annually) to be apart of an AirBnB “club” this would be similar to AirBnB plus but you would receive the following:

- 24/7 access to direct club member customer service

- SuperHost status (reviews would not affect this)

- Black out days for other club members (guests)

- Increased Host Guaranteed insurance coverage

2. How much would you be willing to pay?

3. Is the $1,000,000 insurance coverage enough for damages? If not, what type of coverage would you like to see?

@Kaylin12  I don't understand your post. Do you think that you are going to propose this to Airbnb and they are going to say its a great idea and institute it? If so, that's pretty naive.

Why should hosts pay more to belong to some Airbnb club? We already have accounts with them, pay a service fee, and for that we should receive decent service.

You are suggesting that hosts should be able to buy Superhost status? Seriously? 

Your idea is like asking students if they would pay to join a club so they could receive instruction by competent teachers when they have already paid tuition.

Is the 1,000,000 guarantee enough? I would strongly suggest you spend some research time reading posts on this forum. The host guarantee is basically a joke. Hosts who want to be protected carry their own str insurance.
