Airbnb Misinformation to guest on Covid-19

Airbnb has sent my guest an email stating that because of an "incident in Bradenton Beach " they will be allowed to cancel with a full refund or credit. Within the hour I had 3 cancellations. 

What irks me is there is ZERO, NADA, NONE incidents of Covid-19 in Bradenton Beach or in Manatee County. 

Apparently this was a boilerplate email sent out to everyone where just the lacation was changed. This was done without researching the area to see whether or not it was true.

Who was the idiot that signed off on that?

They need to send another follow up email stating that they f****ed up and apologize. Will they? Probably not. What about the reservations they caused me to lose because of the misinformation? Am I going to get some sort of restitution? 

So much for all the money i made them all these years.
