Why were the old messages from return guests removed? They were an aide memoire.
Hello everyone! ๐
Welcome to the Community Center! ๐ I'm @Elisa , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Bhumika @Alex @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.
Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:
@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands ๐ณ๐ฑ I have been on the Community Center for 7+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling๐ฒ, playing footballโฝ, and travelling๐ . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe.
@Bhumika : ๐ I was born in Gujarat, India ๐ฎ๐ณ , and shifted to Toronto, Canada ๐จ๐ฆ last year! ๐ท I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. ๐ When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.
@Paula : I am from Colombia ๐จ๐ด and currently living in British Columbia, Canada ๐จ๐ฆ. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance ๐) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries ๐ and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking ๐ฒ and hiking ๐.
@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist ๐ฟ and like to minimise my impact on the planet ๐ as well as volunteering in my local community. I love sea swimming ๐ yoga on the beach ๐งโ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! ๐
@Elisa : I was born in Italy ๐ฎ๐น and as a lover of unique experiencesโfrom exploring the streets of Rome๐ฎ๐น , Paris ๐ซ๐ท, and Toronto ๐จ๐ฆ to appreciating timeless art and cuisineโI'm here to blend the old with the new.
@Alex : I'm originally from Spain ๐ช๐ธ, but my passion for traveling made me move to Toronto๐จ๐ฆ this year to explore the culture and add another unforgettable experience to my journey โ๏ธ. I'm also passionate about all kinds of sports โฝ๏ธ (especially football, in which I played at a semi-professional level) and love to discover new dishes everywhere I go. ๐ฅ
@Emilie : I was born in France ๐ซ๐ท, raised in French Polynesia ๐บ and Morocco ๐ฒ๐ฆ, and have settled in the UK for 14 years now! On evenings and weekends, you will find me spending time with my dog, working on a jigsaw, or trying my hand at some new cuisine. ๐ฒ
Now it's your turn! Tell us a bit about yourself. Where are you from? And is there something special about the location of your accommodation that you'd like to share?
Looking forward to getting to know you all!
Warm regards๐ป,
Elisa

Hi @Geoff7 ๐,
Welcome to the Community Center! We're happy to have you here!
Three listings, thatโs amazing! ๐ Are you managing them by yourself, or is someone helping you?
What drives your passion for hosting?
Warm regards ๐ป,
-----
I manage all 3 myself. When I first started, I used a property manager but eventually decided I could do a better job myself - I felt the property managers really don't care too much about either the Host or the guest experience.
So what drives me, I suppose, is to be able to make every guest's stay a memorable experience for that guest.
It is far more than just the money. It's recognising that these days guests are spending hard-earned money to stay at my places, and as such, that deserves to be recognised and treated with gratitude by me as a host.
In many respects, no guest request has ever been too much - if I can do it, I will.
๐น๐ญ Good morning everyone ka. My nickname is Pumpui from Thailand ๐น๐ญ Host ABNB since 2022. Glad to join this community ka. ๐๐ป๐
Hi @Uraiprapa0 ๐,
Welcome to the community center, and thank you for sharing this here!
How has this experience been over the year? How many guests have you welcomed to your property?
Warm regards ๐ป,
-----
Dear Elisa,
Last year 2024, only one booking via Airbnb. Our guest was nice and stayed quiet and clean. In this year 2025, good start for more three bookings and stayed longer ka.
Hi everyone!

Thank you and stay blessed
Hi @Karen4563 ๐,
Welcome to the community center, and thank you for sharing this here!
When did you start hosting?
What are you doing to attract your first guest? Any marketing strategies you'd like to share here?
Warm regards ๐ป,

I started hosting 2 years ago but unfortunately I had to move from that property so I unlist it but I didn't give up and now I have a new property I put it up enf of February. I hope to have a successful hosting journey. So far I am mostly marketing on social media. Is there any other platform I can use?
Hi my name is Willy S. Even thought my account is new, I already have some years already working with Airbnb providing multiple services to clients like managing their listings, handling the reservations and communications of their guests and also doing the cleaning of their houses.
I'm more than happy to be part of this amazing community. Nice to meet you all!
Hi @Willy214 ๐,
Welcome to the community center, it's nice to have you here!
Were you working at Airbnb as a co-host?
How many properties are you managing now?
Warm regards ๐ป,
-----
Yes, however I was out of the platform re using another account to manage the properties.
Currently Im managing 1 property through my company and providing consultancy services to other users together with a partner who already has around 4 years in Airbnb and has around 6-7 properties listed
Hi everyone! Iโm Nikita, and Iโm excited to connect with fellow hosts.
I manage my own Airbnb as well as several properties for others here in Connecticut. I also own Cleaning Service CT, which helps streamline operations from deep cleans to fast turnovers. Having a trusted network of contractors, handymen, and landscapers makes it easier to keep both guests and property owners happy.
Hosting is something I genuinely enjoy. Whether it's creating a welcoming space or checking in to make sure everything's going smoothly, I always aim to provide a great experience. I speak English, Latvian, and Russian, so I enjoy welcoming travelers from all backgrounds.
Looking forward to learning from this community and sharing ideas!
Hi, my name is Kasturi. I am a host from Maharashtra, India.
My parents have been hosting on Airbnb for more than 9 years now. I became a co-host as soon as I turned 18. Now Iโm onto starting my own listing and canโt wait to host many more amazing people. As a student in college, this platform is not only a place to make friends but also a great way to earn a little side income to help me further my education. It is an honour to be part of this wonderful community where like minded hosts come together. Thanks you for having me, I look forward to connecting with my fellow hosts๐ซถ๐ผ
Hello! I'm Crys ๐ We restored a century home and started our first two airbnbs! I love attention to detail and am excited to have people come stay.
