Hello hosts — I will need to drive with my gentle very well behaved Aussie shepherd lab mix from Columbus Ohio to Sacramento California and back …May 18 -May 23 then stay 2 weeks and come back … it has been years since did this drive — any hosts on the route really appreciate— any tips or pointers really appreciate— best Sara

Yes -- I made the journey 10 years ago....and at that time looked up dog friendly hotels on interstate 70 and 80....is there a way to look up dog friendly airbnb on route? 

Yes, I always ask my guests specifically if they are ok with my canine co host 🙂
