Although these have been difficult times for everyone, the sun will come out again

We understand this virus outbreak has tremendous consequences to the worldwide travel & tourism and hospitality industry. However, we are convinced that the crisis will eventually come to an end and people will continue to travel for business or pleasure. We’re all eagerly awaiting the warmer months and hopeful that the travel industry will find its footing in time for summer holidays. Then, more than ever, after restrictions are lifted, we expect to see families, friends, and couples jumping into the planes and hitting the open sky.

For the time being we see an increasing demand from visitors who have currently postponed their holiday plans, for accommodation during the last summer months and autumn. As a security measure, travellers may avoid large hotel complexes and will prefer to book a tourist apartment, villa, B&B, guesthouse or a small family run hotel.

Yes we must all band together and get our borders unblocked and common sense back into society.

The locking everything including borders down stance and template appears to have come from here in New Zealand without thought of the overall "consequences" on peoples overall right to public health and welfare.

There's serious issues we are now all facing as a direct result of greed and shortsightedness and egos.

You can imagine how annoyed we here in NZ have been feeling been in the midst of endless summer sun, told "You must stay home", you must not go to the beach, swimming, see family or friends or work mates.

 it's beyond belief.

I look forward to the academics been held to account as it's been winter in Europe, no one is factoring into account the increased availability and use of e-cigarettes / vaping/ hookah which shared spread diseases, then there's also the refugees who have spread and may not have the same hygiene standards.

I personally don't think it could be limited to COVID19 as it's described but a mixture of other factors.

Make sure you are all out of lockdowns in time for summer and enjoy the sun & Vitamin D which those with intelligence know we have to get out into as a preventative measure to stop the spread of diseases.

It can only be good for everyone to get back to normality for the betterment of all.

I think you're right. Some of my family has been through worse. We have our health, and shelter. This will end in time. Waiting for the weather to warm up so I can be outside more. In the meantime, I'm seeing more neighbors walking and connecting with friends and colleagues online.

Honestly, I feel like some of us will have forged stronger bonds because of it.
