Asking guests about health

With the novel coronavirus happening just about everywhere, is it against airbnb rules to ask guests if they are from an exposed area or if they themselves are having any start of symptoms?

@Leslie78   It's just an all-around bad idea. As has been said in at least a dozen recent threads on this topic: an Airbnb host is not qualified to make a medical examination based on self-reporting. And the possibility of some areas being unexposed is several weeks out of date, as the virus is documented in at least 125 countries. Even with extremely insufficient testing, your state of North Carolina has 12 confirmed cases.

You should assume that every guest is a possible carrier or might become one during their stay. If this puts you at a risk you are not prepared for, the only reasonable thing to do is deactivate your listing until the circumstances change.
