Bad customer service

Good afternoon, 

 

My name is Frederic. I booked for 12 pers. a villa in Phuket to celebrate New Year 2019. 

Unfortunately, our stay and experience were far away from what we could have expected...

The Host Kevin, appeared to be just a staff of a promotor. 

We agreed on a refund but after few days, I noticed he will never pay me back hence I contacted to AirBnB customer service to help. 

At the beginning they did, and managed to get the confirmation from the Host to pay me back 1,700 Euros. It was not exactly what the pseudo host agreed so I asked them to insist to get my rights respected and to get 2,000 Euros. But I never refused the 1,700 Euros but they told me take it or leave it...

My case has been transferred to another agent and this agent seems to have simply closed it without waiting for me to get my money back.

Now, after the 5th reminder message, and some advices getting from customer association, I am writing in the community chat group to alert you Guys.

Now, AirBnB is trying to avoid to fulfil their due diligence as third party service provider which has been remunerated on this transaction.

 

I sincerely hope to get my money back as this is not a small amount we are talking about.
