Booking Request Denied

Hi Airbnb Community,

Any help on how to book an entire facility last minute? It is extremely frustrating when I've spent days for the best facility and price to accommodate those coming over to help with my project to ensure the minimization of COVID risks by avoiding shared space that comes with private rooms but denied because the algorithm thinks I am hosting a party.

This blanket-over-everything approach from Airbnb is frustrating me so much because there was absolutely no priority or the need to book weeks in advance, or I would've done so if I knew there was a new algorithm in play. I am not looking for private rooms for mentioned reason, and not a hotel because I would go to  hotels.com to do that. 

Can anyone provide any methods of proceeding with the booking or is the algorithm too all-mighty?

Sent the host an inquiry, mention the issue ("contact the host" option on the listing) ad ask how to proceed. Maybe a trick will do the job like: book the accommodation for less persons and let the host change the reservation afterwards. Or the host can sent a special offer based on your requirements.

This restriction applies to younger guests with less than three positive reviews , who are booking close departures to minimise the risk of party guests.

if you're allowed under your Covid regulations to book for a group of unrelated guests just use the other STR platforms or places that take direct bookings @Rubin17
