Booking a specific area

I want to book an Airbnb that is close to where an particular event will be held.

I don't know this area very well, how do I book an Airbnb in that particular area.  I tried putting in the address, but that didn't work.  Otherwise I need to look up each address to see the location.  And this is a big city, it could take forever.

@Priscilla150  I use the map view when searching for a specific area. It is a multi-step process as you have no doubt discovered.

I use google maps to identify WHERE the venue that I am planning to visit. Then I use the AirBNB map to find that spot; zooming in once I find it. From there, I might write some hosts to ask them how far you are from the venue and/or how you could get to it via public transportation, if you plan to use a bus or subway.

You are right. It takes some determination, but it can be done. Best of luck.
