Business account: issues with VAT and company details exposed.

1. VAT

I must charge VAT on reservations (having a business account), i am also obliged to charge Tourists Tax.

Airbnb sums it up in one amount, so the guest (nor the host, allthough he/she can calculate it, knowing the rates) can not see the exact amounts for VAT and local taxes.

Guests booking for business need to know the VAT amount, f.e. the employer or institute needs it for VAT administration.

Or an international traveller can claim VAT back when leaving the country.

BTW Every transaction in normal life has the VAT amount on receipt or invoice !

So i would suggest Airbnb adds the VAT amount as a separate line to bookings.

2. Company Details

When having a business account, Airbnb shows the company details on the listing, including full address and email address. You don't even have to be logged in to see it. So somebody can easily make contact outside Airbnb (it happens) or even show up on your doorstep (it happens).

I would suggest guest can see full details only when having a confirmed reservation.

I hope Arbnb will take action on the issues mentioned, as they are very inconvenience !
