C19 Super Host relief Fund

From April until the end of May 2020, Airbnb will be sending invitations to some eligible Superhosts, who can then apply for a relief grant of up to $5,000 USD. What happens after the 31st May NOTHING

It is now the 2nd June and we still had not had the courtesy of a respond from Airbnb as to why we have been overlooked to qualify for the relief fund even after numerous attempts. The phone operators state they can’t assist us it is up another group so please leave them a note on the feedback site on the website. This is a perpetual joke.

Super host like ourselves have been overlooked. Airbnb it is past the 31st May the world is still on lock down nobody can honour their bookings our guest that were supposed to check in June still can’t travel as there are no flights. We have lost over $9,000 worth of bookings due to COV19 that you are fully aware of as you keep track on the online booking system and yes we are been financially affected.  We have also been super hosts for over 6 years what more clarification do you need. Please help us….I’m sure we are not alone. The 31st May is a fictitious date, when will you change this policy.

@Hernan-and-Karen0   Their announcements made very clear that not all hosts who meet the stated criteria would be invited to apply. Plain common sense tells you that this program is not an act of charity, and that there were additional criteria fed into the selection algorithm that weren't made public.

Maybe you'll still get an invitation, but if not, I see no more point in complaining about it than about not having the winning lottery ticket.
