COVID-19 Cancellations

I’m shocked at the negative response, ranting and raving about how much assistance hosts will receive and if Airbnb is “making out” on the backs of hosts and guests. This is an unprecedented, dynamic situation. It’s fluid. When the pandemic hit and I lost 13 reservations, I was devastated because i am retired and it is a supplement to my social security. I expected nothing. I was overjoyed to learn of the AirBnB efforts to assist host Monetarily and show us how to enhance cleaning and sanitizing measures to help stop the spread of COVID 19. AirBnB is a young multi-billion successful business. Setting $10 million aside to aid in the effort is admirable. Let’s stop blasting them and help them deliver. Admit it, when you first started receiving cancellations you thought you would receive nothing. Something is better than nothing. We will come back stronger than ever!
